With humility comes patience and with patience comes acceptance. One of our biggest blockage to happiness is when we are stuck in our ways and we can’t see things from different points of views, not to say the least when we are “stubborn” people. This Character trait can both work in our benefit or it can make us suffer a lot. Only when we are stubborn in our love for H”S and the Torah we will be able to be happy because we will always be very sure of our place in this world, but if we are stiff necked in other areas of our lives then it will be the other way around because the danger here is that we can become so rigid that instead of bending we can break.
Pesach gives us the opportunity to humble ourselves in many ways, specially in allowing us to connect to what really matters leaving space for other ways in which we can come to fulfill the purpose and mission in our lives with flexibility and creativity.
