Shavuah Tov! Wishing everyone a good week.
In this week’s Parashah “Vaeschanan” (And I pleaded), Moshe prayed to G-d 515 times to let him come into the Land of Israel. Our sages teach that the numerical value of “Vaeschanan” is 515.
They also say that if he would’ve asked one more time H”S would of said YES.
The key to accomplishment is persistence. If you ask someone for something that is very important to you and you don’t give up, eventually the other person will give in. Children have mastered this nuisance, as all parents can attest.
It is only a question of what you are willing to be persistent about.
It’s important to know what is worth persisting about, for we can’t be like this in everything pertaining the physical world, for we don’t want others to run away from us . But in spiritual pursuits we should keep on going and trying till we can achieve our triumph.
