The Tzadik R.Meshulam Z …

By June 7, 2019 No Comments

The Tzadik R.Meshulam Zusya of Anapoli said that he could not attain the heights of the Teshuva explained by the Tzemach Tzedek in which he said:”V’shavta Ad Havayeh Elokecha,” he explained to all the Holy Society from the teachings of the Maggid of Mezritch that the avoda (work) of Teshuvah must attain a level at which Havayeh (transcendent manifestation of H”S) becomes Elokecha (Elokim finite manifestation of H”S in which the numerical value of the word Elokim is the same as hateva (nature)).
Meaning that we should come to the point that we see G-d in everything.
So Reb Zusya of Anapoli broke Teshuva down to its components, for each letter of the word Teshuva is the initial of a verse as shown in the post above. Each one of the five letters of the word Teshuva is a path in the work of Teshuva.
