Prayer gives wings to our emotions and words to our yearnings. It has the power to uplift us and to give us peace and hope.
Every time we say Baruch H”S (thank you G-d) we are praying. G-d loves our prayers and that we ask Him for our every need. He loves when we share our fears,struggles, joys and success with Him. When we acknowledge that everything comes from Him and Him alone and we open our channel of communication either through personal prayer or guided by our Siddur, our relationship becomes real and strong.
As the Alter Rebbe used to repeat many times through his lifetime: “I want nothing at all!I don’t want your Gan Eden , I don’t want your Olam Haba…I want nothing but You alone.”(Hayom Yom Kislev 18).
