Today we count the 48th day of the Omer with “Yesod Shebe Malchut” (Bonding Within Kingship).
We can only really come to bond with someone else at this level when we are able to appreciate the person we are. When we come to love ourselves, then and only then can we really come to love others. This love I’m talking about is NOT a narcissist, egocentric love, which comes from low self esteem. The love I’m talking about comes from a very high place, it comes from acknowledging our essence and that we are made in the image of G-d.
Just think about it for one second. H”S invested in you all these materials:an animal soul and a Divine soul, intellect, emotions, personality,a body, strengths and weaknesses so you can be you and that is all HE wants, that you take all these and make the best you can with it. When we live in this way and with this knowledge then we will be able to appreciate everyone else much more and we will be able to bond in the truest and most divine way.
Tonight we will come to the culmination of the counting of the Omer with “Malchut Shebe Malchut” (Kingship within Kingship), now we are ready to receive the Torah a new with passion, love, enthusiasm, joy, a new sense of belonging, responsibility, and peace.
Thank you for following this journey with me. I truly wish for all of you that you live up to your true selves with good health and joy every day of your lives. And remember “Make your days count!”
