“And Yaakov Remained alone.”(Bereshit 32:25)
The Midrash states that just as H”S is alone so too Yaakov was alone.
In general people are afraid of being alone, we are always trying to find company because we have an intrinsic need to connect.
H”S created that need in us so we should seek Him and connect to Him.
What this pasuk is trying to convey is that each person is unique in the way he was fashioned by H”S, no two people are the same.
True strength is to acknowledge that you are not meant to be like anyone else, we don’t need to be following trends, or what everyone else is doing now a days.
Yaakov was alone because he was he doing what he needed to do, not trying to make others happy. His whole purpose was to be Yaakov.
