This week we read Parasha “Bo” (Go) as in the verse “Go to Pharaoh” (Shemot 10:1).
Some people think that to solve the problems in their lives, they just need to do more good, and this is a beautiful altruistic point of view, but that is not enough.
In order to be able to cause an effect and a change we must also eradicate the bad.
The verse “Go to Pharaoh,” means: “go to the root of the evil, seek it within yourself, and then and only then you can crush it and eradicate it within you.
A person must identify the primary desire which burns in his heart-the root of his personal evil- and launch an attack that will finish it off, once this has been conquered what once seemed like a huge struggle suddenly becomes easy to handle.
