At the time of the Egyptian Redemption, the women demonstrated more faith and trust in G-d than did the men. The women of our generation, too, can lead the way by demonstrating their faith that the final Redemption is imminent. The Rebbe Lubavitch of blessed memory was very persistent of the role of women in all areas of life, specially putting emphasis in their power in the home, source of all blessings. The home is the place in which we create the the much needed light that can illuminate the world. Just as the windows of the Beit HaMikdash (Holy Temple) were designed in a way in which the light of the Temple would come out to the world, instead of the outside light coming in to the Temple.
As women we need to build our families to be generators of light and that begins in the home by educating children who understand that they are precious with very unique roles and responsibilities in their lifetime and by encouraging our husbands, showing them our love and respect and in this way we will bring the best out of them so when they go out to work they can shine this light too.
Women, with their inner strength and faith, can bring their joy and celebrate the imminent Redemption, just as Miriam our prophetess and the women who lived in the times of Egypt who left with music and dance playing their tambourines inspiring in this way everyone around them.
