This week we read Parasha “Pekudei” (Counting). Usually, when it’s not a leap year, last week’s Parasha “Vayakhel” (assembled) and this week’s Parasha “Pekudei” are read together, stressing the idea that both the individual and the community are crucial in the success of our endeavors. The individual, because each person has his own uniqueness which gives him inherent value as an individual, but at the same time when that uniqueness comes to complete the whole it makes him/her even much more valuable than if he/she were to be alone.
So when quality merges with quantity the power of team work cannot be surpassed.
