Today we celebrate “Woman International Day,” by honoring womanhood and women all over the world.
I have said it many times, but it’s worth repeating today, “women are everything…” We are wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, caregivers, professionals, etc… you name it!!!
The value of a woman is in its intrinsic nature. G-d created woman to be a “kenegdo” a helpmate to her husband, with love and her nurturing nature she can help him reach his potential.
This beautiful poem written by King Salomon in honor of his mother Batsheva is sang every Friday night before reciting Kiddush, in which the woman of the house is recognized and valued.
As I read somewhere today: “this generation of women are trying to prove that they can do everything a man can do. By doing this she is loosing what makes her unique. Women were not created to do everything a man can do, she was created to do everything a man CAN’T do.”
