In Parasha Tzav the Tor …

In Parasha Tzav the Torah recounts how Aharon and his sons were installed as priests. G-d had Moses offer up specific sacrifices on their behalf, every day for a full week.
The purpose of these offerings was to awaken in Aharon and his sons the qualities that would enable them to act as the representatives of G-d for the Jewish people, wether for securing atonement for their misdeeds or by raising them to higher levels of Divine consciousness.
Even Aharon and his sons had room to grow and reach higher spiritual levels.
Everyone of us has an inner priest who has a strength to overcome spiritual darkness and transform it into light. To be able to access this inner power we must seek out individuals who are steeped in Torah and further along the path of spiritual refinement than we are. Being surrounded by these type of holy individuals will give us the power not only to transform darkness into light, it will allow us as well help others do the same for themselves.
