Today we count the four …

Today we count the fourth day of the Omer with “Netzach shebe Chesed”(Persistence within Love and Kindness).
For love to be effective it needs to be persistent. One needs to constantly show the love. It’s like the story of a very unhappy wife who wanted a divorce. The Rabbi asked her: “after 30 years why do you want to divorce your husband?” She said: “I don’t feel he loves me anymore.” The Rabbi went and asked the husband if he still loved his wife, to which he answered: “very much.” hmmm so the Rabbi asked him why would she feel that you don’t love her? Do you tell her you love her?
The husband answered: “no need to show the love, it’s obvious.”
This combination of sefirot tells us something very different, it screams at us: “show the love!!!”
Every relationship is like a garden that needs to be well kept by constantly watering, trimming, fertilizing, etc…
Relationships need nurture, time, effort, expression!!!!
Make it a priority to show the love to those you love. Sadly today people spend more time in their iPhones than with their loved ones, so much time misplaced that could be used more effectively and productively loving someone else.
